The application window and the conditions, as the article states them. Check the amount in the calculator first.
Try the calculatorWhen to apply
Article 70(2) of the Employment Insurance Act sets the window. You apply from one month after the day your leave started until 12 months after the day it ended. You cannot apply on the first day. One month has to pass first.
If you split the leave, we could not check from the source text which leave the window counts from, so we do not say. Ask your local employment center or the Ministry of Employment and Labor at 1350.
Who qualifies
Under article 70(1) you must be granted leave of at least 30 days, and have at least 180 insured days in total before the day the leave starts.
This calculator does not decide that. The employment center checks your insured days.
Check before you apply
Your payroll team works out the ordinary wage. If you enter only the base pay from your payslip, the result can come out lower than the real figure.
If your employer pays you something because of the leave, article 98 of the Decree can reduce the benefit. The table in the calculator has no such reduction.
We could not check the way to submit or the documents from the source text, so we do not list them. The Work24 simulator and 1350 can tell you.
