Months 1 to 3: 100% of the ordinary wage (cap ₩2.5M). Months 4 to 6: 100% (cap ₩2M). From month 7: 80% (cap ₩1.6M). Every month has a floor of ₩0.7M.

First day of leave (optional)With a date, each month is judged against the 2025-01-01 reform. Leave it empty and every month uses the post-reform rules.

Example: 3,000,000 won a month, twelve months off

Here is one worked case so you can see the shape before you type anything. It uses the standard track, starting in 2026.

Over 12 months that comes to 23,100,000 won.

What this calculator does not do

It does not decide your benefit. It applies the rates and caps the Enforcement Decree sets, and the Employment Center's decision comes first. It does not work out your ordinary wage or whether you meet the insured-period requirement.

It does not calculate the reduced-hours benefit, maternity leave pay or spouse's paternity leave pay. This screen looks at the parental leave benefit only.
